Re: “Dehas a large amount of tomato plants.”
Not this year, I haven't.

My attempt to grow tomatoes from seed has been something of a disaster this year. Most of the seeds germinated and grew to a height of 2" and stalled there. I think it might be because I used very old potting soil, some of which came from old pots (so it had been used before.)

I've only transplanted eight tomatoes to the yard this year and they're all small. I'm not optimistic that they'll produce - except for the two cherry tomato plants since they always grow quickly.

This is my first year in a new location. In my experience, first year gardens are always poor. Next year will be better if the weather doesn't mess with me. (Up here, about one year in four is a gardening nightmare.)

Hi Zim!

I suppose that makes sense. If they are saplings..

Dehas a large amount of tomato plants.. That's why I wondered if Miz De was the one who put the plants in the holes HE dug. lol!!!! That's how it works at my house.

I'm only good for digging, carrying heavy things (which I have gotten out of now with my heart and only being medically permitted to pick up less than 25 pounds) and keeping miz micro supplied with a stream of money. Laughing Laughing
