Like some of the towns we passed through in West and South Texas, when we took our AMTRAK trip to Houston a year ago this week.

I once got hit by a dust storm south of Amarillo. Red dust, no visibility, high winds, and just before that on the other side of the horizon clear blue sky lightning. Hell on earth. Don’t get why people live in these shitholes.

Terrible little ugly towns north of Lubbock, deprived, junk yards, just fking ugly depressing shit.
