COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Ohio’s Republican Gov. Mike DeWine said Thursday that he is calling a rare special session of the General Assembly next week to pass legislation ensuring that President Joe Biden is on the state’s 2024 ballot.
The special session was called for Tuesday.
“Ohio is running out of time to get Joe Biden, the sitting president of the United States, on the ballot this fall. Failing to do so is simply unacceptable. This is ridiculous. This is [an] absurd situation,” DeWine said. ...
I agree, Dewine ... this is patently ridiculous and absurd. It is ridiculous and absurd that the people of the Biden campaign are so irresponsible that they cannot navigate the well-know, longstanding rules that are lawfully in place to make sure their candidate gets on the Ohio ballot. This dilemma is ALL on the Biden campaign and the DNC. They're like two-year-olds sucking their thumbs hoping that someone else will come along and fix their problem for them. Ohio is NOT running out of time to get Brandon on the ballot - Brandon is running out of time to get himself on the Ohio ballot because of his very own laziness and ineptitude. It is way past time for these infantile buffoons to grow the hell up. Why do they think everyone else has to bail them out of problems of their very own making?
