I suspect you missed the point of the whole article.

The 'Narrative'.

'They' want U.S. to believe the global warming fear-mongering . . . We shouldn't.

'They' want U.S. to believe 'Orange Man Bad' or 'Trump gonna be a fascist dictator' . . . Both narratives are LIES.

Another 'Narrative' - - "Israel is committing GENOCIDE in Gaza" . . . I remind everybody that on October 6, 2023 Hamas was enjoying a 'cease fire'. The Israeli's were not shooting at or killing or bombing any Gazans . . then hamas committed the worst human rights abuses of the 21st Century - with Israeli's as the victims.

I read the article as reminding me to 'look for the narrative' and if it is LIES do NOT believe.

Adam and Eve were as children in the Garden of Eden. God told them to stay away from the Tree of Knowledge. The devil came along in the form of a Snake and told Eve that God did not want her to grow up, and that if she disobeyed God and ate the fruit she would get answers that she was longing for. She did and that's exactly what happened. She ceased to be an innocent child. She then approached Adam and either tricked or persuaded him to do the same. In some versions of the story, God told Adam not to do it and that Eve had to go. Adam then chose his wife over his father - and ate the apple. They were then evicted from Paradise.

Where were the devil's lies? I don't think there were any. It told the truth. God was repressing his children and preventing them from growing up. Now, the Snake *did* perhaps convince them to disobey their Father... and some might think that was a sin. But if he hadn't done that, just think about where we'd be. Actually, I don't think we'd be here at all since Adam and Eve would still be innocent children living eternal lives as God's pets.

Maybe someone more Bibley (pronounced Bible-ee) than me can explain why I'm wrong. But, in my opinion, the Snake did humanity a big favor. No, we did not become God-equivalents, but in eating the forbidden fruit we certainly became something more and better than we were. For that, we owe the Snake our gratitude.
