Re: “DIDJA know that on the Mountain named Arrarat in Turkey I believe was found pieces of ancient wood that were hewn in shapes that matched the description of The Ark Noah was in?”
I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for anything to come of that. Such stories have arisen many times throughout my life, and there have been expeditions to determine their veracity. I've watched a couple of documentaries about groups that went to the mountain to investigate reported findings and neither panned out. They'd make a big deal about finding a single plank of wood above the tree line, for instance, but that would be it as far as monumental discoveries. I'll grant that there are huge political hurdles that have to be overcome before any group is given access, and that does make it a challenge to investigate a Biblical claim, but the challenges haven't been insurmountable and there's as yet been no big breakthrough.

The bottom line is that there have been claims for at least fifty years that remnants of the ark have been found. Maybe there's something to the report you've heard, but I'm not holding my breath. Show me the ark, not the report. THEN I'll get excited.

I just checked Netflix for the documentary I watched most recently and couldn't find it. Perhaps it was on Hulu - which I no longer subscribe to. There are several on youtube right now, though. If I had unlimited data on my internet access, I'd watch them. You may want to. One claims to have proof that the Bible is true.

IMO, if the entire world had ever flooded, we would be finding fish skeletons (not fossils) in every arid region of the world. We aren't. So the Great Flood is probably an exaggerated telling of a particularly bad monsoon season circa 1500 B.C.

Just wondering only because you keep yerself with an open mind.

DIDJA know that on the Mountain named Arrarat in Turkey I believe was found pieces of ancient wood that were hewn in shapes that matched the description of The Ark Noah was in?

That is true.

WHY else would a large vessel be found at High altitude on the side of a steep mountain?

Just saying that many skeptics want to dismiss all the that support exactly what the Scriptures said..

Here's another "scientific" fact found in the BIble.

There are fresh water rivers flowing thru the Oceans.

And scientists "Oceanographers" have verified this..

Just a few tidbits for ya of how what is in the Bible is being proven all the time.. Our scientists are more than a little behind on learning things about the Planet we live on.. Maybe they should consider reading the Bible and seeing what other information they might glean.

Assuming of course that it would not be beneath their dignity... Science and scripture do not need to be polar opposites. The Bible actually supports many things that we took awhile to finally discover. Like dinosaur remnants. Yep. The Bible speaks about them as well.

There is a wonderful real Museum here in Northern Kentucky off the interstate of I-275, called the Creation Museum which is all about things we know about and were found in scriptures, including a made to scale ARK that Noah was on including the insides where the animals were kept. They used the dimensions given by GOD in scripture that HE told Noah.. It's pretty impressive and gives us new perspective on how that happened.

My wife's first cousin is a manager there. Her husband is a preacher and Pastor of a Church..

Just something of interest.....
