I was born into a Catholic family.
Went to parochial school for 7 years.
We went to mass on Sunday, ate fish on Friday during lent & did the stations of the cross with the class on Friday mornings in church.
I read books on the saints. Set up a statue of Mary in the backyard between the two pine trees & said the rosary.
My beloved grandmother sent away for a habit when I told her I was thinking of becoming a nun. I loved her sooo much!
Her sister became a nun late in life, a new order in New Mexico took her. She had never married.
All of this said, I believe 'God' is an adult form of Santa.
People pray hoping their wants & needs will be answered.
I try daily to be the best person I can be.
When I die I'm okay with that being the end.
Also, whatever helps others live a better life, if believing in God helps that, great!
