AS for the Cubit, 18 inches is a common length of that specific area you described accurately.. That's where 18 inches comes from..
Since there is VARIANCE of that specific areas length on different people, its kinda hard to have ship builders trying to figure out whose elbow to hand measurement are ya gonna use to saw this board to length..
The normal and most common was approximate 18 inches as a rule of thumb.
I do not remember reading anywhere in scripture about most people being only four feet tall.
Have no clue where that came from other than a fairy tale.
Oh well.
This is why if ya want the scientific evidence of things found in scriptures, come visit the Creation Museum..

It was wonderful when the ability to set type came and the scriptures could be set on the printed page exactly as it was found in the scrolls.
Luther rebelled against the Catholic Church because that Church was keeping the Word of God OUT of people's hands so they could try to keep power of the people..
The World owes Martin Luther a huge debt.. HE made the preserved Words available to ALL to read and have..
God hasn't died. And scripture says It is impossible for God to lie. His very nature makes that impossible or else HE would not be PURE AND Holy. Also, HIS NATURE in Scripture makes clear that GOD CANNOT LIE.
He is the creator and author of all we see in existence.
He NAMED every single planet and star in the entire universe.

My sister has been diagnosed with Dementia and she is three years younger. My borther in law Tom is bring her down here to be with us a few days and himself, as he is the Buckeyes field goal kicker under coach Hayes in 1974 and 1975 1976. The Bucks defeated Michigan in Columbus in a driving snowstorm because he kicked a 42 yard field goal into the wind with time running out..
He is a legend in Columbus and we have the GAME BALL signed by the entire team and coaching staff, including Woody Hayes. Its under glass.
I feel very badly for sis. She is 2 years my younger and she does not do well with Tom out of her sight..
My wife and I will try to keep her company while Tom is at a functional reunion with that team locally as a reunion..
