Well, placing their overly emotional fancies about bump stocks aside for a moment, if they truly wanted to apply rationality to this issue, they would be forced to conclude that an administrative rule from a bureaucratic agency that is NOT based on legislation does NOT constitute a law - period. There is no legislation banning bump stocks, so the Supreme Court was compelled to strike down this rule.

zzshart, bureaucratic agencies DO. NOT. MAKE. LAW. - legislation passed by Congress and signed by the POTUS does that. THAT is the "democracy" you retards keep blathering on about (actually it's the operation of our Constitutional Republic, rather than "democracy," but you pinheads are too stupid to understand that).

So, lamebrain ... if you are so terrified of bump stocks, then get your Marxists ... oh, excuse me ... "Democrats" ... in Congress to pass the necessary legislation and have your President Puddin' Pop sign it. And then, we'll see if it passes muster under the Second Amendment with the Supreme Court. Until then, you're just doing your normal routine ... diddling yourself over in a dark corner of a room.

Trust me on this: Those of you who are so engaged in this discussion on Pffart4 have no business EVER using the word "logic." If you aren't smart enough to understand that whether a bump stock turns a semi-automatic gun into a machine gun hinges on the definition of "machine gun," then you're in waaaay over your heads.

If a "machine gun" is any gun that can fire rapidly, as you and your pffarting echo chamber think, then a person with a robotic finger turns any semi-automatic gun into a "machine gun." Only an idiot would think that was the case.

The generally understood definition of the word by gun professionals is a gun capable of firing multiple rounds with a single trigger pull. A bump stock doesn't do that. It just helps a person's finger pull the trigger more rapidly - with a complete loss of control, by the way. The Las Vegas shooter would probably have killed many more people if, instead of using a bump stock, he had aimed and fired rapidly.
