After the overwhelming response my last message about the approaching Nova inspired, I figured I should learn a little more about the area where this event will occur. If you're like me, you need all the help you can get when it comes to finding stars.

I posted a small star chart in my first post. The charts in my Sky Observer's Guide are better, and I went a little further by marking Corona Borealis in yellow. Here's the first of the two:

Sometime between now and September a star named T Coronae Borealis will go "nova." It's a recurrent nova, going off every eighty years. The last eruption was in 1946.
