I don't know about dat BUTTTTTTT.............
I discovered a couple days ago Ohio has a good program in place for residents that pay property taxes that fall in the retired age category.
We have what is called a homestead act so iffen ya have a gross taxable income of 38,000 or less ya file wif da IRS, you can get a get out of paying property taxes free card... I have brought this to the attention of my wife's older sister who is a widow if a Vietnam War Veteran and she is five years older than us.
Soooooo, we have figgered out how to qualify ourselves and now we can help her sister out also. I took her up to the County Auditor office earlier today to file..
That's a good break.. We pay twice a year property taxes and they ain't cheap.. Neither are hers.
I like this Homestead act . It actually is a real help to older people with static income. AND the money for income does not include social security benefits either.
I can't wait to get the final approval..
Glad I do't have to pay taxes on Ribit's mansion .
