miz micro, aka iron fist lady, tells me to get off my lazy backside and go outside and water everything heavily before it gets 100 today. I guess the goal is to keep all the plants and shrubs from having heat stroke.
Better for ME to get it than them.. Never thought a plant would be more valued than myself.. I have reached a new all time low..
ANYhoo I was dutifully performing my orders when I stepped back and my foot got caught in the hose and threw me off balance.
I landed on my back.. The good news it was the Front yard.
The bad news is my ego has been bruised badly and the neighbors all enjoyed the show... I bowed and finished what I were a doing (that's ribitese) and slunk back around the side yard and disappeared into the rear entrance.. Of course my Shoes are soaked as well as my socks. My ego is bruised as well as my backside.
Other than that its starting off to be a great day!
My daughter and family will be arriving tomorrow for the weekend and Monday.
The disadvantage coming here next to the shores of the Ohio River is that there are no ocean breezes blowing in in Zim's and her locale . We have a HEAT BLANKET with no air movement.. Welcome to Ohio.. in summer.
Only thing worse could be living in Georgia... RED Dirt and fire ants and GRITS! What a horrible combination..
Ribs is a more tolerant jar haid than me. It could be cuz he is ancient and I am merely old.. He has higher tolerance and MIZ Ribit has finally managed to thru her ways of getting a smidgen of civility into his Rebel upbringing..
Mr. Wizard is getting dangerously close to bordering on Ribit. I have special surprises for dealing with wizards. So far I have held back and exercised restraint. 
(truth is both could chew me up and spit me out if they wanted but don;t tell them. Ribit would be unbearable.)
SO I am hoping a couple Aleve pills will ease off the Hip Pain which makes it difficult to sit or walk. And of course it is the artificial one with lots of arthritis farms busy eating away what was left of my right hip bone.
I knew I should not have gotten out of bed this morning..
Time to go apply ice to the hip.. I hate getting older..
