...I has been told that the best time to water ya stuff is in the evening after it cools off a bit and the direct sunlight is off the yard. That way the water has time to soak into the ground and get down to the roots where it has to be to do any good. If ya do it during the hot part of the day under direct sunlight most of the water evaporates.
