My grandsons are here from Virginia Beach and my goodness how they have grown... The oldest is an 8th grader and he is about 6 foot 2 already.. He's a great shooting forward on select team basketball and is the leading scorer for the entire league.
They play in Lancaster, PA next weekend. That is my grandparents (deceased) city! I know a lot about it.
It's too far for my wife and I to drive so we'll have to skip this one.. She can't ride in a car that long both ways.
The Girls are on their way over and from here I think we are headed to Cincinnati's Union Terminal where the passenger trains leave from and is home of the Museum of Natural History as well.
They all went to the Ball Park on the Riverfront last night and watched the Reds BEAT the Brewers... The boys were excited as they are huge Reds Fans living in Virginia Beach.. Glad they saw them win... They should be wound up..
Hope I can summon some more energy to keep up with them today!
As usual, the dinner party is here at my house. Nothing special. Bunch of youngsters so plenty of Pizzeria Pizza will be on the menu tonight with desserts.
I'll try to catch back up later today..
