A re-iterated warning from my doctor

I was at my primary doctor's office a couple days ago for a checkup and had a few questions.

Doc asked me a few questions after checking on the main reason I went which is a large swollen gland in my neck.

So he wanted to know my routines and physical activity.
I told him I had moved some concrete blocks from one spot to another and was carrying some bags of mulch and topsoil around to spread out per miz task master's orders.

Doc looked at me and warned me NOT to be picking up things that weigh 20 pounds or more for ANY reasons. If my better half is unhappy then have her call him.

My heart's left ventricle is not pumping what it should in volume and in fact is rather pretty low. That explains why I am normally tired to an extent or tire easily if doing anything with exertion.

Needless to say I was an idiot for lifting cinder blocks and large bags of mulch and top soil.

I am wondering how everyday things that one does around their home get done without being able to move things that need moving?

I am really starting to to dislike being a heart patient
with all the restrictions.
I want to live life normally and if I can lift or pick something up that needs moved just do it.

I am still in rather good shape and plenty strong.

So this is a bit of an inconvenience but doc says not to do it. Grrrrrrrrrr.

So now I need to figure out a workaround...
