Well, I don’t do bedwetting, and letting creeps from the other side tell me their own bs about Biden, does not faze me. Because that’s what they’re doing, and the press want to make themselves sound self important by asking questions, which is fine, but the way they are asking them isn’t. It’s just noise to me.

John Fetterman’s debate was terrible, he won easily. Biden’s case is not the same, and he proved it Friday in NC.

But, and there is a big BUT: He needs to do THAT often and all the way to November. No more data and statistics, just plain Joe against Orange Man’s lies and terrible wants for the future of this country, the fact that he’s taking us back to the 1800s with his lackeys in Congress and red states, the grifting,, the lying sacks of shit like Bergum and Rubio, and Cruz and Johnson, and Jordan and Comer, and on and on and on, they are like cockroaches crawling around leaving bacteria all over.

So, if he can’t do that then he’ll have decide and tell us before the convention what the plan is. That’s my red line. I need to see Joe last Friday, because that Joe wins HANDS DOWN!

I don’t have complex schemes of replacements. I just have that ONE requirement. I think he can do it, he just needs to understand he has to do it that way, lay it simple and hard on Dump, and stop the details of all the stuff he’s accomplished. People don’t want to hear spreadsheets, they want “Trump had the highest deficit ever of any President”, “Trump is proud that he killed Roe and he can kill your wife, sister, and/or daughter by the states now imposing restrictions on emergency situations for pregnant women”, “Trump will let Putin’s dream come true with Ukraine, as he’s a Putin mole in America”, “Trump will get inflation back up to 9% with 10% tariffs on everything, and extend the tax cuts to the rich that brought the debt up $8 billion in his only 4 years, as he has no economic plan to keep inflation where it is now at 3% and lower”, “Trump will kill green energy that right now supplies over 60% of US energy needs, while we produce and export more oil and natural gas than ever before”, etc., there’s a whole list of simple statements that will get to the Trump bullshit and into people’s heads that they can remember and think about. Repeat them ALL THE TIME! Don’t take prisoners. Let your surrogates talk details, you only have to kill Trump’s bullshit repertoire by repeatedly killing his lies. Just clobber him with simple statements. People like simple, Americans especially, they don’t wanna wait for shit, they want it now in a way they can point to it.

C’mon, politics is a simple, harsh game, and Joe needs to get simplified harsh and steady. No more looking at notes. Do a Friday SC every time there’s a microphone in your face. Don’t let bedwetters and the “press” define you. Define yourself, otherwise get out. I need to see you understand the game at this point as it appears to be.

Period.

Can we stop a moment and really think about this idea of replacing Biden as the nominee. I think it’s utterly stupid. Here’s why.

This election is going to be won or lost on two items. Who gets more of their base to turn out, and who gets more of the undecided middle ground to vote for them. What would replacing Biden do to each of these?

Let’s start with the base.

There’s a lot of Democrats who might have wanted another nominee, but Biden is the one who stepped forward, and no one else put up much more than a token fight in the primaries. So we’ve got Biden capturing the nomination. If the rug is pulled out from under him, a lot of those with a soft commitment to Biden are going to feel like their vote in the primary didn’t matter. They could easily choose to sit out the general election, cutting not only the votes for Biden, but for many down ballot Democrats as well. Not at all what Democrats need.

How about the undecided?

They’d likely feel similar. Looking in from the outside, it will look like a mutiny is happening. Because it is. Biden has already said he’s not bowing out. So any replacement at this point really will be a mutiny. Why would undecided voters vote for a candidate that didn’t actually win the primary election? These people (Democrats) have a process, followed that process, then they tossed that process out and picked someone else? That is not a party that is attractive to independents. That makes Democrats look like an unorganized mess. (Which they often are, but not when it comes to rallying behind their candidate – at least not until now.)

Again, this is not what Democrats need to win the Presidency.

So this wacky, knee-jerk reaction of replacing Biden will almost certainly cause that replacement to lose, and the party to lose a bunch of down ballot races as well. With both the House and Senate at a dead heat, that will almost certainly put all three in the hands of the Republicans.

So stop this crazy talk, admit that one bad day does not make for a bad nominee, then get back to pointing out how terrible Trump and his MAGA cult are for the country, and how much better President Biden and your local Democrats will be for the economy, foreign relations, and their personal finances.

Then on November 6, we can get back to our regularly scheduled in-fighting. ;-)
