Trump still has crimes he has to answer for in those indictments that don’t fall under this immunity bs, like the obstruction charge when he tried to get fake electors certified, etc.
I could go into the charges but don’t want to waste my time thinking of that creep who will be found guilty in those cases on some of the charges.
Otoh, what SCOTUS did is very shady, and for EXAMPLE, the only way calling the Justice dept about the “election fraud” could be an “official act” is if he asked them to investigate any potential fraud and NOT telling them to “find fraud”. Anyone with a brain can understand the difference, I hope. The courts will have to sort all that out but we can all see the implications of rogue Presidents, no? Even in the future from any political party we could end up in civil war here.
So, those who celebrate should pause and think of the implications of this decision because it isn’t an abstract finding.
