Preventing the Ukraine invasion would have been easy. Somebody in the Swamp didn't want to prevent it.

BTW: Right up til russian tank treds crosse over onto Ukrainian territory I though Putin was just puttin on a show hoping to get a compromise settlement without firing a shot. AFter all he could come back ever six months wanting another compromise until he had the whole nation and was deciding what other sovereign nation he could compromise out of their wealth.
