Well, to put it into perspective, you gotta realize that actors are paid to do what the vast majority of people would be way too embarrassed to do - put themselves out in front of the public and overtly pretend to be someone they are not - and some of those pretenses are seriously ridiculous. Now, don't get me wrong, these efforts can produce great entertainment for one and all, but for the most part, it takes an individual who is shameless and juvenile - and often narcissistic - to successfully pull it off. Combine these personality traits and being bestowed with VAST sums of wealth and adoring fame ... well ... it produces people who are way out of touch with reality.
