I just talked to our son again and they're still without power as of 8:00am this morning, their time. It's been more than four days now without power. They're two daughters, one who lives in Houston and the other only a couple of miles away, have had their power restored, but his part of Katy is still dark.
While the three restaurants in Houston that our son is responsible for are all back in operation as power has been restored there, he's still without power at his house since early in the morning on Monday. He said for some reason, his neighborhood is still dark, while all around him the power is coming back on.
