They didn't because it wouldn't have changed anything. The measure would still have failed. The GOP really pi$$es me off sometimes. I figure it's better than the Democrats... but is it really? It would like to get rid of Donald Trump. Of that I'm sure.

If Big Government is the enemy, The DNC and GOP are both its friends. The best I can say about the GOP is that it is slooooowly - election by election - improving while the DNC is quickly worsening.

I believe Merrick Garland has been held in Contempt of Congress, previously. This time, I think they were voting to fine Garland $10,000 per day for withholding the tapes of Hur's interview with Biden. Yes, those four voted "no," but there were also a few Republicans who were absent for the vote that still could have swung it for approval. What I don't understand is why they didn't wait until those absent Republicans could be present for the vote.
