great point.. It's worth what a sixth grader would be from 50 years ago and not as much as students who had to use and pass a McGuffy Reader.
I can't tell you how many illiterate, nitwits applying for work when I was an employer who were college grads could hardly put a coherent sentence together and some could not even read .
I don't think I will ever forget those years. This is why most college degrees are almost meaningless.
I am grateful the standards are higher in professional curriculum's and programs like Medical Doctors or PE's.
Or Nuclear Physics or professional engineers.
Its a dangerous world we live in today with morons being granted degrees so the universities can keep the cash cow open for business. Only the general populace will suffer those consequences later....
