You apparently have no understanding of what that tithe is really for..
As I do not want clutter the board with the lengthy list of things that GOD Himself said it would be used for , let's just say that from a Biblical pespective and a direct command from God, your assertion is incorrect. The "Church" which also belongs to GOD does not need nor require your money.. What GOD requires of HIS people is obedience to HIM and HIS Book of directions and instructions for living while we are here on HIS planet.
It was not an accident that this planet is exactly the right distance away from the star which gives off heat and light to this planet so it is not an ice ball like all the other ones farther away nor is it a furnace where ya could get burned alive in a millisecond.
As God the SON pointed out to another unbeliever, all one need to do is look around and behold everything that is here and see all the things here and that even the very rocks would cry out attesting to the one who created it all. What other planets do you know of teaming with all the things on earth? Or people? Or all the varieties of animals? You think it all just happened by happenstance.?

DID the Priesthood who was one of the tribes of Israel want their money? God required an offering of money and and animal blood offering sacrifice in theh Old Testament time. Christ shed his own blood which is FAR GREATER than all because it was DIVINE Nature as an offering for the sins of the whole world, every man and woman and child for all time. THAT ened the animal sacrifices because the blood of Christ was sufficient for payment and restoration for all our collective total of SIN past, present, and future.
NO sin will ever enter Heaven, nor unclean thing.. God is HOLY and only people who are made HOLY by the BLOOD of the Risen Christ , which HE IMPARTS to them upon their trusting HIM ALONE for their salvation, without exception.
THIS is WHY Christ PAID THE PENALTY for EVERYONE'S SINS for all time and cleanses them from all unrighteousness when they TRUST HIM ALONE of their forgiveness and their salvation.
How many thousands of years do you want to go back in time "to keep it real" ? The people of God began with Abraham and through him all the nations of t he earth would be blessed because of HIS FAITH and trust in GOD.
HE is the only person GOD ever showed Himself to..
GOD owns everything on earth. He doesn't need your or my money.. Tithing is all about FAITH in HIM to supply all your needs ny trusting HIM to do what HE has said so HIS CHURCH has the resources to operate and to minister to the spiritual needs as well as physical needs of HIS people, to the Jews first and ALSO to the "Greeks" (gentiles).
I have heard this bogus and misapplied argument a million times in my life and it is always the same one.

Those were TWO of the greatest Men of GOD in modern times who became good friends though one was in England and the other in the United States.
They lived in the 1800s and MILLIONS of people followed their teaching and preaching. These are TWO of the most powerful and close to GOD men who changed their countries for Christ.
I hope you use that wonderfully gifted mind of yours to explore the FAITH, without with every one who is not a child of the KING thru The SON, CHRIST, will not see the Kingdom of Heaven..
And yes, Heaven is for real. And people in Heaven can see events on earth and know what is happening.
My own mother appeared to my nephew one evening when his first child was born.. She had a special affection for him as he was the first grandchild of my little brother and she raised him. Him and his wife had both seen her and heard her.

NO ONE will enter the Kingdom of GOD unless they have been BORN AGAIN through the Blood of Christ by grace through faith in HIM ALONE.
The CHURCH does not need your money. IF one loves GOD, they will obey HIS written words (all of them) and will give an offering to GOD by faith . HE will see your faith and will not let you go destitute or hungry or anything. He will bless you for your faithfulness and multiply you.
