I consider myself fortunate to have gotten away from it. With what I know today, I will never return.

I don't think that time serves any purpose except to facilitate consciousness. Therefore, I don't think there is a conclusion. That means, among other things, no afterlife.

I have a great many interests, and God is at the top of a very long list. But religion is of no importance to me at all. Thanks, but no thanks. I would rather spend my time learning more about how the universe works. That's where I see God, not in the Bible or any other religious tome.

I hope this doesn't offend you, but every person needs to find God in his own way. My approach is very different from yours.
