Naw, this is "old math" (i.e., reality) because the young lady rightly declares the proposed subtraction to be null and void. All three dogs will remain with her, come hell or high water. The only new factor in the mix ... a dead body ... isn't relevant to the equation because it isn't the body of a dog ... just the body of the asshole who is proposing to separate her from her beloved dogs.

That sounds like one of my grandsons . . .
He came in from school one day and proceeded to tell me two equals three. I told him it did not.

He assured me it did.

So I told him "OK. I'm going to give Ray Ray three cookies, and I'm going to give you two cookies. Who has more cookies?"

He learned pretty quick.
