The SEC has 4 of the pre-season top 7 rated teams and the Big Ten has numbers 2,3,8,9
That's 8 of the top ten pre-season rankings. There is no doubt as to where the premier college football conferences are.
Notre Dame appears to be touted highly once again.. They have been over rated the last bunch of seasons and we are wondering if this is yet another in a long line.
Regardless, can't wait for the games to begin.
The NFL season is nearing as well but the Bungles looked miserable against the Bears and I realize they played mostly third string players and non-starters to see who they are going to let go and who they keep.
I am not sure about my alma mater this year as they looked pitiful last season and over matched.
If ya want to play with the big boys ya got to get better players. I seriously doubt Cincinnati is the in the top 50 schools that come into football players minds when looking for a place to play.. Its kinda sad.
A University of this size ( 30,000 plus) students should have better programs. They were doing well under Coach Luke Fickel who turned it around and then went back to their old ways after he left.
