Micro, Russia, UKraine

Ukraine is not a member of NATO.

Ukraine was petitioning NATO for admittance when Russia invaded.

One of the things that irritates me, is that Russia is supposed to have a free hand in bombing anything in Ukraine it wants . . . while Ukraine is not supposed to be using long range weapons (provided by others) to hammer Russia. Just not fair.

Let us not forget that once upon a time when the old USSR imploded and Ukraine became a 'free nation' Ukraine had a LOT of nuclear weapons . . . Ukraine gave up its 'nuclear arsenal' in exchange for a promise from Russia that Russia would never invade them . . . .

Russia appears to be a country that thinks gobbling chunks of real estate from other countries is a fine way of doing business. (China is another one.)

So. I think helping Ukraine kick Russian butt is a fine way of doing things. I also think we should give Ukraine LOTS of long range weapons and let them hammer Russia with them. And tell Russia that if it even thinks about using nuclear weapons it will be the end of Russia.

AS for spending 'so much money we don't have' in Ukraine . . . The REAL problem here is the lying thieving turds in the congress stealing and spending So Much Money on Stupid Shit - much of it Un-Constitutionally.

Like the 'federal department of education'. Unless one can find somewhere in the 'job description of the government' that says the federal is responsible for seeing people get educated . . . it is Un-Constitutional. (And it and a LOT of other similar 'programs' need to be disbanded, defunded, and the moneys first used to pay down debt then tax reductions.)

I got two dead brothers in law who were Vietnam veterans that were in the army. They died here at home of different things but I am confident both would have nothing good to say about Walz much less Harritick..

IS Ukraine a NATO member? IS Ukraine strategic to US interest other than stopping a land grab from Russia?

I don't know.. Don't much care either....
