Sir wizard,

Good morning. I apologize for the lateness of this response, not that it is of any significance or great importance.

My Grandson is Graduating with great honors, possibly Valedictorian of his class at Thomas More University in Northern Kentucky which is a private academic college and is a D2 school. He is on the national merit list because of his perfect grades thru his career there. He is finishing out half a year early and only has a semester of student teaching to accomplish yet. Unlike his parents and his grandfather he is very quiet and also soft spoken.

He was a an absolute Beast on the football field and was an ALL city and state linebacker his senior year of high school..

He is quiet and very un-assuming and respects and helps his grandparents all the time.

we create a jobs list that requires a little strength and that I no longer possess and am not permitted to lift 20 pounds or more. Its our way of finding a means where HE earned extra money and we grossly over pay him but we know he needs money for gasoline and debts.

I promised him we would pay off his college debts and not to worry about it. Same for my Grand daughte, his sister.

She is the best D2 college women's catcher in Ohio. 22 base runners from women's softball attempted to steal second base last season and 21 of them were gunned down by her accurate and very strong arm.
From a squatting position she throws to second on a straight line about three feet off the ground the whole way from behind the plate. The word has now been gotten around the league to all the other teams its not a good idea to try to steal on her.

So the young adults that they have become are our pride and joy.

I am glad to be rid of Brian Kelly. I just wish we could build this program to be competitive for the size of the university. We have over 60,000 students.. That is not a small enrollment.. Its a small city..

I am very interested to see how Texas and Oklahoma do in their new conference this season.. It should be a fun and great season of college ball to enjoy.

Trust me when I tell you I am not married to Ohio State.

I like them because they are in 90 minutes from my home and the best team in this state. But, when you have the resources that they do, they should be the biggest and best.. Their roster is overflowing with top level talent at all positions. Hopefully they will gel as a unit quickly and get rolling. Athletes are not a problem. Execution is..

Here's to a great season of College Football and praying that athletes do not get badly injured...

My best wishes to Texas and The Dawgs!

micro...

Well, micro ... all I can say is that Cincinnati should be truly glad to be rid of Brian Kelly. That guy is a two-faced sleazebag who whines about his players when things turn south, instead of owning up and taking some responsibility himself. I have no association with Loosiana, myself, but I was truly fond of LSU when Coach O was in charge. Now, I hope they lose every game until they get rid of that worthless piece of crap they have for a coach.

The University of Texas Longhorns have four national titles in football - just half as many as Ohio State.

So, your grandson and granddaughter attend the University of Cincinnati?

My uncle and aunt lived most of their adult lives in Middletown, Ohio - just up the road from Cincinnati. My father was born in Ohio and he always rooted for Ohio State.
