Thanks Zim.

That describes ME ! I don't anything about stem cells so maybe I need to look into what those actually are.

I am diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure. I do not know what De's situation is but that is a private matter for him.. And yes, I fatigue easily and do not have a lot of stamina so I need to take a nap daily or I will simply eventually fall down.. I prefer just laying down on my comfy recliner.

SO, I can relate to that as my left ventricle does not pump as much as it should and is damaged slightly. The heart is also a GRAY color instead of red from a lack of blood and oxygen going thru it for apparently quite a while. I never realized it nor noticed. I guess it comes on gradually and so in little incremental steps ya just kinda think everything is normal.. Until it isn't.

Apparently my primary care saved my life as she noticed a slight irregularity in a EKG she took for a annual physical and sent me one mile to the ER where she had sent that EKG and had cardiologists look at it and were waiting for me unbeknownst to me. I thought I was going to get another test done she could not do in office.

The rest is history. I didn't leave until I recovered from the open heart surgery.

I am guessing this treatment is PRE heart attack prevention.. ????

Interesting to say the least... THANK You!

http://www.newsmax.com/Health/Health-News/heart-stem-cells-heart-failure/2024/08/30/id/1178554/

Approximately 800,000 people suffer a heart attack annually. The resulting damage weakens the heart’s ability to function properly and pump blood throughout the body. This can lead to heart failure, a life-threatening condition that causes shortness of breath, fatigue, swollen legs and other symptoms that diminish quality of life.

Now, stem cell therapy has been found to improve quality of life in heart failure patients and reduce the risk for future heart attacks and heart-related death.
