Out of the top NINE teams rated, FOUR are from the Big Ten..

There is no doubt the SEC grew stronger this year with the additions of Oklahoma AND Texas.

SEC has 9 out of top 20.

Big Ten has 2 of the TOP 3

OR

SEC has 2 of the top 4 and Big Ten has 2 of top 4

SEC has 4 of top TEN
Big Ten has 4 of top Ten

SEC has FIVE more teams in the top 20

THAT'S A LOT..

We'll see how this season rolls along.

NO doubt the league got two high profile Teams from the BIG 12 in Oklahoma and Texas.

It's early in the year and a lot of football ON THE FIELD has yet to be played.

This could be the year Texas shows it is ready willing and able to become THE dominant team in the SEC.

Then again, I don't know if Georgia is ready to give up the crown yet.

Should be a great year for the re-aligned leagues with the strong new teams that entered them.

I would love to watch the TEXAS / Georgia game.

Alabama may be on the verge of returning to its old self also. Mississippi is strong.

It all makes for an exciting year of football at the collegiate level imo.

I still root for my alma mater knowing they aren't going to be a national powerhouse.

Best of luck to the Longhorns in their season this year.
