You are right.

I was looking at the AP polls. They are a lot different than SEC owned ESPN network..

I agree the SEC is much improved with the new teams. That said, so is the Big Ten.

One thing I will concede is that conference strength top to bottom is NOT as strong as it has been before. And yes, the SEC is overall a stronger football conference to some degree.

But do not be fooled. Ohio State is loaded with talent and perhaps more of it than anyone else.. Their recruiting classes were focused on filling specific needs and they got them filled with the best talent available.

Its a long season so everyone has to get some wrinkles ironed out and the engines warmed up.

Oregon is not chicken feed. Washington also was a highly rated football program. It will be a league this year of no guarantees of anyone going undefeated.

Hopefully we will meet in the playoffs. The league season is a long road and a challenging one for both conferences.
