Boeing updated it flight software on Starliner and told NASA they were ready to take the astronauts back to earth. NASA said NO.
Boeing wasn’t happy with that decision. They had a heated discussion with NASA. NASA still said no. NASA thinking is that Boeing was being wildly irresponsible."
The Starliner will probably never fly again.
Boeing is $1.6 billion dollars in the hole with the Starliner program.
