Re: “So many questions...”
Though you addressed your message to Zim, I assume it to be open to everyone. I hope so, anyway.

If I could make a suggestion: Present complex topics one at a time (one per message, or maybe even one per day) if you want even remotely satisfying responses. Complex topics deserve discussions, but you aren't going to get them if you throw a whole bunch of them at us at once. But you did, so here goes:
Re: “can you find some reasonable explanation as to how and why only the earth and our moon are in exactly the precise distance away from the sun to not burn up”Sure. We're finding that Mars probably had oceans of water, rivers and streams, once upon a time. But, a few billion years ago, Mars lost its magnetic field (perhaps because the planet's core solidified). Without a magnetic field to deflect the sun's more energetic emissions, atmospheric water was lost to space and Mars's surface water was eventually depleted. That took a long time. But if Mars had been larger, it would have kept its molten interior and might still have oceans, just as the Earth does.

Even Venus, about 25 million miles closer to the sun than Earth is, could have had oceans of water if its atmosphere had been thinner allowing the planet to be cooler. You might remember Zimbler mentioning something about the Earth's oversized moon playing an essential role in making the Earth habitable. Not only did the moon cause Earth's tides, but it also stripped away most of our atmosphere, allowing Earth to cool rapidly enough to avoid Venus's fate.

We've got a stretch from (at least) Venus's nearly circular orbit of 67 million miles to 154 million miles (Mars's maximum orbital distance) where planets circling a sun like ours COULD have surface oceans. That's not a "precise distance away from the sun" at all! It's 87 million miles... practically as great an expanse as that which separates the Earth from the sun.
Re: “rotates on an axis so the rays of the sun warm most of the planet except the two poles so there can be food grown”All the planets do this. Even little Mercury - which was once thought to be tidally locked so that one side always faced the sun - rotates about once every 57 days.

While planets naturally rotate in the same directions as their orbits, some - like Venus - do not. They have retrograde rotation which is thought to result from ENORMOUS asteroidal impacts early in their formation. Venus likely collided with a planetoid nearly its own size. Imagine that.
Re: “life to exist both on the land and in the oceans and the air?”One of the wonderful characteristics of life is that across hundreds of millions of years, it expands to fill every possible nitch. Things want to live, so if moving into caves or away from water improves their chances, some of them do so.

BTW, you left out "underground." By mass, there is more life beneath the Earth's surface than on it.
Re: “WHY is it no other planets exists like that? Only one.”Just how many planets do you think we've explored? Only one, right? I could turn your question on its ear by noting that the ONLY planet we've explored has conditions right for life. One for one! Perfect conditions must be very common then! (LOL. I'm only joking of course. But we really don't have any idea how common it is for planets to be right for life. Maybe not at all common. Maybe quite common.)

We may still be alive when Elon Musk sends men to Mars. Life sprang up on the Earth almost immediately (geologically speaking) after the planet cooled. This suggests that life may actually be a common phenomenon. (Or maybe not. Time will tell.) But wouldn't it be fascinating if we find that Mars did - or DOES - harbor life? If that happens, how will it affect your faith?
Re: “WHERE did all of this different diversified species of animals come from ”It's called "evolution" - and it's far too complex of a theory for me to explain here. But given that life on Earth goes some 175 million human generations (20 years = 1 generation)_, a LOT can happen. Life changes. The changes are sometimes slight and sometimes tremendous. Most changes are inconsequential. Most consequential changes cause the specimen to die. But sometimes the changes provide an advantage that allow the life form to flourish and pass the advantage on to its progeny. That's the one-paragraph explanation.

If you'd like to learn more, I can recommend The Blind Watchmaker by Richard Dawkins. Parts are dull, but much is fascinating. You'll learn a lot - even if you don't believe any of his theories.
Re: “why are they different than mankind? If we all came from the same gene pool then we should all look the same.. Walking on two legs and upright and with a brain that thinks. Very strange how that only ONE species has existed like that.. The apes are the next in line but they are limited.”When you see your two daughters, are you able to tell them apart? How? Same gene pool. As you noted, they should look the same.

You need to give that part of what you wrote some more thought.

In 1971, scientists moved five pairs of insectivorous Italian wall lizards to a tiny island off of Croatia. War broke out so the scientists left. They returned in 2008 to find that the native lizards were gone and the 5,000 descendants of the transplanted lizards were now herbivores, having developed cecal valves that slowed digestion in a fermenting chamber, allowing bacteria to break down cellulose into volatile fatty acids. They also developed a harder bite. This new species evolved within 30 generations in 37 years. You may argue that that isn't really evolution since the offspring could still breed with members of the originating species. But try this on for size:

When animals evolve, some of the genes that made them what they once were don't go away. They simply become deactivated. Scientists today have the ability to activate genes in vitro, just to see what happens. In one such experiment, chickens grew teeth. And not just ANY teeth, but teeth with serrated edges resembling those found in fossils of small theropods like Velociraptors (the dinosaurs in Jurassic Park). In another experiment, genes were activated to give chickens the same number of bones in their tails as velociraptors. Bear in mind that scientists aren't engineering these changes... they're just activating what's already present in chickens... and they wind up with chickens that have traits found only in the animals' remote ancestors. There's your smoking gun for evolution. Life evolves. Given enough time, the changes can become so drastic as to make the resultant species unrecognizable. Mankind is one result of evolution, but there are millions of others. In the fossil record, there are also countless species that once thrived but are no longer here. I have two of them hanging on my wall... good sized fish from 30 - 50 million years ago. In some cases, those species proved to be dead ends (as humanity may). In others, their descendants continue to exist, perhaps looking very different from their ancestors.

In the same Wyoming lake from which my fish fossils were retrieved, the bones of a horse ancestor was found. It was the size of a dog... much like a horse but, also, sort of not. It's called Orohippus. See below for a picture.
Re: “Just thought I would share an interesting real experience with y'all..”Extremely interesting, and I believe it happened. I think I shared the story of my post-op hallucination, right? A week after surgery, I was awake as could be but in my recliner, eyes closed, with my son sitting alongside when I SAW a different room almost as clearly as if I had my eyes open. I could look left, right, up or down at will. I could examine the walls in fine detail, though I was clearly lying down. I knew immediately that it had to be a hallucination and told my son. He asked questions and I answered them. Thereafter, I narrated... and the hallucination got much stranger. Somebody wheeled me out of the room, down a short hall and into another room. I was moved onto a table. And I "saw" a person in surgical bluegreen garb approach, bring out a small flashlight and wave it across my face. Then it clicked back to the start and I was in the first room again. This repeated several times but each iteration was faster and less detailed than the one before. Then it stopped.

This was all in my head, of course. My memory was interfacing with my visual cortex in a manner that doesn't normally happen. I later learned that in the first week post-op, an enormous number of people experience hallucinations. It's something about the drugs they give you.

BTW, I didn't discuss this with my surgeon in my follow-up appointment. I was afraid he might extend the duration of my driving suspension!

Drugs aren't the only things that can cause hallucinations. Without a doubt, extreme mental stress (i.e. "grief") can cause them too. In the case of your nephew and his wife (did they both see this? Were there any differences in what they saw? You didn't say), you owe it to yourself to eliminate the possibility of hallucination before jumping onto the more far-fetched "miracle" explanation. Hallucinations are real and pretty common. Miracles might not be real and - if they're real - are extraordinarily rare. "Once in a hundred million lifetimes" rare.

I can't say that your explanation is wrong, but I can say that when it comes to something like this, one must eliminate the probable before embracing the improbable.

Zim

can you find some reasonable explanation as to how and why only the earth and our moon are in exactly the precise distance away from the sun to not burn up, rotates on an axis so the rays of the sun warm most of the planet except the two poles so there can be food grown, and life to exist both on the land and in the oceans and the air?

WHY is it no other planets exists like that? Only one.

WHERE did all of this different diversified species of animals come from and also why are they different than mankind?

If we all came from the same gene pool then we should all look the same.. Walking on two legs and upright and with a brain that thinks.

Very strange how that only ONE species has existed like that.. The apes are the next in line but they are limited.

WHY do humans have different "personalities" and thoughts and do deep thinking and studying while all the rest of the animal kingdom does not?

The SCRIPTURES OF OLD tell us MAN was created in the "likeness " of GOD with similar features and that GOD himself BREATHED into that body HE created and gave it life eternal because a piece of GOD exists inside every man and woman. It is eternal like HE IS.. That is why our existence does not end at the death of this body..

We could go on and on but let me share something with the board I have never talked about before..

The BIBLE talks about Windows in Heaven.

That means people in Heaven can see events and know about their loved ones on earth..

Case in point.. My nephew and his newly married wife of a couple years shared this with me.

About Four years ago SHE was pregnant with her first child ever and my nephew was so excited. They went to the hospital for delivery and the baby was still born..

Obviously there was a lot of heartache..
Brett, my nephew went off into a quiet room to grieve.

He said that my mother spoke to him in that room and calmed him down and he saw her visibly.. Then she vanished.

She could see from heaven what he was going thru and (windows in heaven) and came in spirit to comfort him and his wife....

I never knew any of this happened until they both told me separately when I was visiting at their home a couple miles away about a year ago..

He has told this to my brothers and sister as well.

I cannot explain this but am sure it happened.

So there are things in the spiritual realm that we are not going to comprehend nor understand until later...

Just thought I would share an interesting real experience with y'all..

Miz micro and me are waiting for an RN to show up for a "Wellness" check... Its one of the things that happens when ya is on medicare and a plan from some insurer.. They want to make sure I am not dead yet.... Cheesy Grin
