Every state is different.

In Florida I believe he would need to be sentenced first before the felonies are cemented, so he can still vote in Florida. But double check, that' what I heard.

The question is HOW does the republican party select a criminal for their candidate...

Does a convicted felon get to vote and participate in elections, let alone his own?

That’s the first question. DeathSantis puts such in jail, for example, for voting alone.

The second question is how can such a felon be considered for president let alone be one?
