Well, FWIW, our coastal fog rolled in, we had about 86 here earlier, but it's dropped to 55 out there now, this morning the fog burned off about 10 AM, so overall, a nice quiet day... A/C had an easy time of it today...

It hit 108Ëš in Irvine today. Now at our house, my only outside thermometer is on the Northwest side of the house, which is also well shaded, where the Sun never shines, and the highest reading I saw from it (it's a remote sensor that sends the data back to a web-connected clock in my office) was 98Ëš a few hours ago. Note that our AC has not been taken offline by the power company today, at least not yet, but the high usages hours are coming up, that is, from 5pm to 8pm.
