A big thank you to Northern Illinois for demonstrating just how good Neutered Dame IS NOT.. Over rated another year for like the umpteenth time due to writer's obsession with this school.. They never catch on..
Tennessee looked very strong as did the Texicans and Bulldawgs. Ole Miss looks like a really good team also.
I know, It is only week #2 and a long way to go.
Michigan is NOT the team it was under the new coaches and their personnel is not particularly outstanding either.
I predict they will get beaten multiple times this season in the Big Ten.
It remains to be seen how well the Oregon Ducks do and Washington Huskies in their new league as both are not pushovers.
Texas and Georgia both looked like outstanding teams and very strong.
My alma mater is back to being a third world football team. I do not know why a university of this size in a excellent high school football state cannot seem to recruit talent to play here and be competitive with other big school programs..
It was a great week-end.
We got our new bedroom furniture delivered and set up and changed the look of that room and created more space as well. New Table lamps should be arriving hopefully tomorrow.
I am informed I may be painting walls as well.
Nothing is impossible for the one who don't have to do it..
So I will be the faithful, whupped man of the house and dutifully resign myself to a couple of weeks of aching back and spine.
October 19 is our 50th anniversary. Those years have gone by fast. she is as beautiful today as she was back in the '70s. I knew I was going to marry her the first time I saw her.. And a year later we did.
Time flies and kids and grandkids come and next up is great grand kids. If my grandson who is finishing up his student teaching and then graduating marries his sweetheart of the last few years that is where my first great grandchildren will come from..
I am wondering if I should finish my doctorate or just let it go.. Both my daughters are at that level and have a JD and the other a PHD in Biological Science.
I am bringing up the rear. Two masters. At y age I don't know if it is worth it other than for vanity's sake. I would never use it for anything but I do not like bringing up the rear in anything... Yep. Ego and vanity.. Highly competitive.
