I see you have read our founding documents sir Wizard.
It is a crying shame that the majority by far (vast) of lawmakers and politicians have never read it through one single time.
Perhaps before one can run for any office they should be required to read the entire Constitution several times before running for any federal position that requires them to uphold and defend these documents and the LAWS.
Most of them have no clue what is in that document including the Walrus from Moose-a-sota....
As I have posted many, many times, already ... government is a necessary evil - EMPHASIS on the word "EVIL." Our federal government doesn't need but about 20% of what it takes in, now, because it needs to provide military protection for our nation, protect our borders, deal with foreign governments, oversee our judicial system, maintain our national currency, and settle any disputes among the states. Otherwise, it should be a fly on the wall.
