I caught the end of that on CBS & thought of you.

Nah, the west holds no interest for me, I'm an ocean/water person, it is always changing.

I do enjoy the mountains in Vermont, but not near as much as the water.

Do something positive.

Still hurricane season. It’s gotten much better in the last week, but we had some serious afternoon storms mid week, lots of spikes, etc. We’re getting closer to winter nirvana, though, when this place cannot be compared to anything.

This is the best time for the west just passed/end of monsoon season. But, I am still bullshitting, not deciding. Tik tok tik tok tik tok.

Otoh, just to bug me, there was the nature moment at the end of CBS Sunday Morning, and it was Monument Valley, one of the most amazing landscapes in the West, one made immortal by the John Waynes, etc. I have a small clay pot filled with thin red sand from there, it looks like paprica. Btw, I also have another pot filled with sand from Naples FL, and Pensacola, white powder, thin like confectioner’s sugar…..

The east is nice, the Hudson Valley beautiful, but it all looks the same, you got to go west to wake all your senses like never before. No comparison to the exhilaration experienced out there in the open spaces with the big skies and unbelievable land formations, the plants, etc.
