GOD never gave MORMONS permission to have multiple wives EVER.
Marriage is between ONE MAN and ONE WOMAN, Not one man and as many other women as he wants to have sex with.
The BIBLE has not changed and neither has the ONE who directed the HOLY men of OLD who HE used to record HIS words under direction of GOD the Holy Spirit.
I am pretty sure that the Apostle PAUL, Peter, John among others were long before any mormons ever arrived in America.
Holy Matrimony is described as ONE MAN, ONE WOMAN. And in addition they are not throwaways jes cuz we have arguments or other things..
HUSBANDS, LOVE YOUR WIVES, even as CHRIST LOVED THE CHURCH AND GAVE HIMSELF (HIS LIFE) for it!
So the mormons are a splinter split off bunch from the real CHURCH as described in The Bible which is why somebody had to come up with something OTHER than the BIBLE which dated back into the 1400's until MArtin Luther told the Catholic Church it was for EVERYONE to read and nailed his Thesis on their door.
So the Mormons are a SECT doing their own thing which GOES directly against what GOD says in HIS BIBLE ass HE directed holy ancient men to record HIS WORDS for US to have... Those HOLY MEN would have been Prophets, MOSES, and Apostles appointed by GOD the SON..
They do not believe THE BIBLE for what it is because if they did, they could not practice Polygamy.
They're a few centuries late to GOD giving THE WORDS to Holy MEN of old to record for posterity and eternity.
Psalms chapter 12 and verses 6 & 7 describes the WORDS of GOD
The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.
The WORDS given by GOD are permanent and forever, They do not change and blow in the wind. They are for instruction and reproof and living. They contain direction and instruction for men and women to live by and adhere to.
They were not suggestions. They came from GOD. HE NEVER CHANGES his Character, or HIS MIND, Or HIS WORDS because of HIS nature. He cannot lie. HIS WordS, like HIM, will endure forever.
Perhaps you could explain why when a woman flees to escape being one of several wives in one home that they always send a hunting team out to find her?
WHY did they throw away the BIBLE to begin with and still have not returned? They wrote their own book of MORMON which goes against THE WORDS of God found in Scripture.
WE ALL live in modern times and GOD'S WORDS are still what we have to use as HE GAVE THEM to holy prophets of OLD and they spoke them and scribes recorded them.
Mormons are johnny come lately's who made up their own sets of rules, disregarded what the Lord God of Heaven provided for ALL mankind including HIS PLAN of SALVATION for every person on planet earth which is so simply and always open to anyone who would repent (turn from) their sin and trust HIM alone.
Mormonism is all about WORKS of yer own to earn your way to heaven. God's way is HIS GRACE and Forgiveness with your FAITH in HIM as Lord and GOD.
As I said, Mormonism is a cult. Just like several others I could easily name.. Scientology is another.
If it ain't centered on GOD'S WORDS HE preserved in HIS BOOK you are entering Satan's realm because HE wants to trick you into believing something that GOD did not ordain or say..
Remember that Satan is The GOD of this world and is only controlled a little by GOD. He is out seeking people HE can fool into not following GOD and CHRIST..
CHRIST SAID " I AM THE WAY, TRUTH, and LIFE. NO MAN comes to the FATHER but by me."
So id you aren't going thru Jesus, you aren't going..
ALL power was given unto HIM in Heaven and in Earth.
Not some Mormon bunch whose practices are in direct opposition to God's Word..
