The Hurrycane arrived here yesterday evening and continued to build strength as the rest of the parts followed the initial arrival of light rain.
Powerful winds that knocked down telephone poles and trees came thru.. Our no outlet street had a large old tree go over as well as a telephone poll that also had electric company wires on it.
So it was an interesting evening and night as the main thoroughfare thru our residential area was shut down both ways and cars approaching had to drive up here and use the circle turnaround to get back and reverse course.
Eventually people began to read the signs put our that the road is closed to thru traffic and our visitors subsided gradually although we still had a few this morning already..
For some reason I feel very weak this morning. Don't know why as I do not feel sick. Think I'll go climb in my recliner and see if this goes away..
