I bought freeze dried stuff 15 years ago. It was real expensive then, probably out-or-sight now. It came in pretty large containers. You had to eat it pretty quick after opening it. Got tired of eating some of it after a few weeks.green beans, corn, carrots were good. Beef & pasta was good. Strawberry’s and blueberry’s got thrown out after a couple weeks of eating them. We still have most of it. I think it’s good for 30 years or so.
We keep chickens for eggs for years. They were great. Ate them every day. Gave away about 1/2 of them every week. We had 12 chickens for a while . 12 eggs a day.

Re: “Have ya stocked up on food and dry goods? Household items?”
Always. Just not as stocked up as I'd like to be.

I'd like to have about two years worth of supplies including food. I don't know if I can convince my wife to eat that much canned food when she's not desperate, though.
