Welcome to the world of college football on a Saturday in games between EXCELLENT teams and unfortunately someone will win and someone will come up a tad short.

Alabama vs. Georgia was such a game between two really great teams. When 2 titans collide one has to win and one will lose. These teams are so very close in talent and skill to each other that I suspect if they played again and again TEN game that each would win five of them.

Texas appears to be competitive with them. Whether they are better remains to be tested on the field. They are a force to be reckoned with in any event.

Then there are those pesky Buckeyes who have more pro talent on their roster than they have ever had.

Throw in The Oregon Ducks into the mix and Penn State looks good this year also and we have a battle looming in the playoffs.

I realize the universities do not want to eliminate each other from the playoffs or else they should play each other in the non-conference schedule instead of beating up a minor football program for practice.

The SEC has THREE if not four powerhouse teams.

Bama, Georgia, Texas, Ole Miss imo. Kentucky is looking pretty good as well.

A great week-end of futzball and put it behind and prepare for the next game.. It will be extremely difficult for ANYONE to go undefeated this season imo.

It was fun and enjoyable to watch.. That's all I can ask..
