And BOTH moderators immediately started talking over JD, and neither allowed him to correct their fake fact checking. Yes. JD handled it quite well - but the moderators still scored their points.

What really irritates the crap out of me is the moderators stating as FACT a certain point (always a faosehood favoring the demoncraps) and then sculpting their so-called questions around that bogus fact, or more bluntly, around that lie.

It's been interesting watching Walz stammering and stuttering. His nerves were obvious, particularly at the start while Vance has been cool as a cucumber.

Probably the most interesting part in the entire debate was when Walz was asked about his claim (made more than once) of being in Tiananmen Square during the protest when he was not - he was in Nebraska. He spoke for two minutes and never addressed the question. At the end, he was told what the question was and asked again to respond. He hemmed and hawed and eventually said he had misspoken.

It was impossible not to conclude that he'd lied.

I also liked it that, despite the rule against fact checking, the moderators did so AND VANCE CALLED THEM ON IT. This was something Trump admitted he should have done during his debate. Vance handled it perfectly.
