Re: “(By the way, do let us know how your fasting regimen works out.)”
Will do. I'm finding that absent-minded mistakes are easy to make. I was outside working today and came in thirsty. I went and poured myself a 6 oz glass of gatorade. Just as I finished it I realized my mistake. Fortunately, 6 ounces of gatorade are just 40 calories. Still, I screwed up. @#%!

I talked to my builder about it today. He said that he has fasted for 24 hours before and became incredibly hungry. I guess I'm lucky. Both Thursday and today I've gotten a bit hungry by 1 p.m. but it didn't worsen. Hopefully that's how it will be today too. (Currently 2:30 p.m.) However, after 32 hours of fasting, I found Friday morning that I had a slight headache. It wasn't a migraine though so it wasn't a big problem.

My wife has been drinking coffee with collagen added. The collagen is a medicine she takes, so it's not counted as "food." It is, she says, about 40 calories. Her point is that 40 calories isn't a big deal. But I'll try not to drink gatorade during the fasting periods - or anything else I shouldn't.

My Amazon Echo says that a cup of black coffee only has 2.4 cal. I may start drinking that on my fast days but Lipton tea is even better: Zero calories. And I'm not a black coffee fan but tea is all right.

Decomposed > I've noticed that the starving people never crave grits, though. Hmmm. Why do you suppose that is?

Now De,
Where ya gonna find grits in the jungle or frozen wastelands?

Trust me on this . . A starving person would find grits to be like manna from heaven if'n they could get some.

(By the way, do let us know how your fasting regimen works out.)
