Re: “Fast #2 is now over.”It's midnight and fast #3 has just begun.

My current plan is to do this for a week (four fasts) since that was an early goal, then call it quits for a while. Then I'll do it again. The length of "a while" depends on how I feel after four fasts. One was easy. Two was pretty hard. Will my body start bending to the routine, making it easier? I don't yet know.

This second fast was harder than the first even though it was eight hours shorter. I was pretty hungry for the last six hours. I took a nap and dreamed about eating grits since, in my dream, they weren't really food.

To meet my "one week" goal, I've got two fasts to go: Monday and Wednesday. I'm thinking now of cancelling "Vegan Tuesday." I can't see myself surrounding a vegan day with two total fasts.
