...I think I told you guys this story before, but back during the cleanup after katrina I took mz ribit to the Golden Corrall here in Toadsuck for lunch. A woman in front of us got to the register first and took out a FEMA credit card (the $1500.00 cards they was giving folks in Nawlins and Houston to survive a day or so. She paid for her lunch with one of them. The girl at the register told her that the card had been decliined. Lady says, "I thought that one was about used up." Then she reached back into her purse where she had a stack of those cards about two inches high and tied together with a rubber band. She gave the register girl another card and it worked just fine. Seems she was a Fema employee who had helped herself to a stack of cards as she abandoned the folks in Nawlins to fend for themselves. This example is probably a rule rather than an exception. Most govt programs designed to help are actually rife with corruption. Maybe Im wrong but I doubt it.

I thought I'd made a great find with the graphic below. Now, just by trying to google or duckduckgo the headlines, I'm finding that SOME of its headlines are fake. The "$110 million" headline, for instance, is actually "FEMA Awards $110 Million to Oregon to Support Vaccination Efforts." Lies irritate the hell out of me. I don't care which side is sponsoring them.

FYI, the Politico headline is real. So, as you can see, the truth is bad enough.

As conservatives, we must always care first and foremost about decency and truth. Leave the lies and scams to the liberals. In the long run, this will only expose them as losers.
