Florida residents in Hurricane Milton’s path warned to evacuate
Florida authorities issued dire warnings to residents in Hurricane Milton’s path, telling them time is running out to flee the potentially historic storm that’s set to make landfall in a day’s time.

“What everyone has been saying is, you have to evacuate, it is not survivable to survive a 10- to 15-foot storm surge,” Sarasota Mayor Liz Alpert told NBC News. “It just simply isn’t.”
