It's midnight Wednesday. I'll have nothing but water or plain tea (zero calories) for the next 24 hours.

This is my fourth and final fast of the week. I'll do it again, perhaps every month or two. I don't plan to mention fasting again unless someone raises the topic. My goal was to do this for a week and I [presumably] succeeded.

The first and third fasts weren't too bad. The second was annoying for about six hours. It remains to be seen how this one will go, but I have no doubt I'll make it. 24 hours just isn't that long and I know now how my body reacts.

Do I recommend it to you guys? Nope. This is a personal thing. You either want to try fasting or you don't.

Re: “Fast #2 is now over.”It's midnight and fast #3 has just begun.

My current plan is to do this for a week (four fasts) since that was an early goal, then call it quits for a while. Then I'll do it again. The length of "a while" depends on how I feel after four fasts. One was easy. Two was pretty hard. Will my body start bending to the routine, making it easier? I don't yet know.
