Re: “...being willfully stupid, like the Pffffarters.”One of the things about the Pffffarters that makes me scratch my head is when they talk about conservatives and ask things like, "Why would they think that?" or "How could that possibly work?" This, after they kicked all the conservatives out for explaining such things and pointing out how liberal approaches couldn't work or had previously failed.

I've never understood why anyone would gleefully wallow in one-sided ignorance.

I understand your contention, Professor, BUT ... where the Pffffarters are concerned, they are the glaring exception ... there is a big difference between being overwhelmed by "black noise" into a state of confusion and being willfully stupid, like the Pffffarters.
