Them thar horns is GORING Oklahoma 34-3 with about 2 minutes to go in the game.

That is a BEAT DOWN...

My Bearcats won today beating UCF earlier.

At 7:30 the Buckeyes are in Eugene , Oregon to take on the 3rd ranked Ducks while them SEC teams continue to play the little sister's of the poor..

WE STILL GOT Penn State, Indiana, and Michigan after this in the top 20 rankings also.. That's 4 top 20 opponents..

If they get thru this season unbeaten they will have shown that they are a formidable opponent in the playoffs.

This game AT Oregon is a little worrisome as the Ducks are a very talented team and they are at home.

Hoping for the best! Go Bucks!

MY BROTHER IN LAW, TOM KLABAN has written a book about his life and coming to America and becoming a kicking legend at Ohio State back in the mid 70's with Archie Griffin and Tom Skladany the punter.

He was the first Soccer style side winder place kicker at Ohio State under Coach Woody Hayes. He is at Book Signings now.

He and I went to High School together when he arrived from escaping behind the Iron Curtain in the mid '60's.

His parents and he and his sister escaped at midnight swimming across the river that borders between Czechoslovakia and Austria. Made their way eventually to France and made it to America at Ellis Island in 1967.

He was Woody's first side-winder style placekicker and had a great relationship with Tom..
Tom and Skladany and Archie remain good friends thru this day..

So this book is about his life story and includes my sister and some writings about myself as well. I was his first friend in High School as he sat next to me in homeroom and did not have a friend.

If anyone is at all interested I'll post the name of the book . He is doing a Book signing nearby tonight.

I only hope that he doesn;t try to drive home after that is over due to the lateness of the time and the distance they have to go.

My sister is coming down with Alzheimers and it is so sad to see her not be able to remember things and be so easily confused. They stayed at my home last night.

She has plaque build up on her brain and she really struggles. She is 100 percent dependent on Tom..

She did get some joy playing with my dog Charlie.. She had a great time with him. She has not owned a dog but had a couple cats. Both are dead and the world is better off.. Charlie is a super affectionate boy and very friendly and loves to give kisses. So this just made her day..

Anyway, I am off to watch the game...

Have a great evening everyone. This will be a very tough football game...
