My brother in law Tom Klaban's autobiographer in paperback is printed and he is doing book signings and tours soon.

He was a Buckeye place kicker from the mid-70's who was an immigrant who escaped the iron curtain with the courage of his father and mother.

He would up in northern suburbs of cincy in the city of Sharonville, OH and came to Princeton High School and did not speak English.

He had to learn the language as opposed to CZECH where they escaped from.

He went on to place kick for Woody Hayes and was the first sidewinder (soccer style) place kicker for Woody.

He went on afterward to become a successful Business Person who had a fast growing software programming company that specialized in City Government and Fire and Police software that was novel and better than what was on the market.

IBM called him for problems they could not figure out.

Anyway, the paperbook is called The Sidewinder and it is about his life's journey to becoming an American Citizen and an icon at Ohio State University.

He has turned out to be a nice person who is very good at sailing competitively and competes and wins at sailing events regularly..

My Sister who has started down the Plaque on the brain trail is with him everywhere and currently they are vacationing in Hawaii on Oahu. Sis' memory is fading rapidly and I am afraid she is going the way of my father.

ANYWAY, its an autobiography of my brother in law and an interesting story. I am in the book in several places as we were high school classmates and teammates.

I was one the first friends Tom had when he came to school and knew NOBODY. He asked permission from me to ask my sister out on a date, as did everywhere other hot to trot hormone raging teenage boy in school.

I was the by far the strongest kid in High School and there wasn't anyone who did not know that. They also knew if they messed with my sister it may be the last earthly act they ever committed. So, that is what big brothers are for.. Protect yer family if ya can.

Just thought I would tell y'all about this new book written by Tom Klaban who was a immigrant who made out well here and employed Americans to work.. They are now retired..

Thanks for listening.... Thumbs Up
